PNR - DAILY ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS & GUIDELINES
Your DAILY ON-GOING assignment is to read a political news article or watch / listen to a newscast and summarize it. A form is provided for your home printing use. You may submit handwritten or typed forms. Paper forms will only be provided for a limited time at the beginning of the school year.
This assignment is worth up to 25 points of your daily grade. The total possible grade for the week is 100. Even when you miss a SCHOOL day, (like going on a field trip - or knowing you will be out) you are still responsible for doing the work.
General rules and guidelines:
- PNRs are to be done daily and IN YOUR OWN WORDS
- Each daily report is to be currently dated, short and concise and should be clear enough for the reader to understand the report (Who, what, where, when, why, how).
- The information reported is to be political (governmental) in nature, especially during election years.
Next semester we will change to an Economic perspective.
- If there is a reason why work would be late or incomplete, it must be accompanied by a parental request or discussed with me in advance, in order for exception to be considered.
-Tutoring time can always be used at school to complete PNR.
Turn in options:
- The form below should be downloadable on your home computer and may be turned in during class or you may submit your work by email. It is due by class time of the last day of the school week.

You may also copy and past the URL of the article / video.
