Welcome to U.S. History!
Subject Overview
U.S. History is the 11th grade history requirement. In this class we will begin US History with a brief review of the founding of our nation. Next, we will examine and explore the Civil War, Reconstruction, Urbanization, and Industrialization, The Progressive Era, World War I and the Jazz Age, The Great Depression, World War II, and the Modern Era (1945 to present). There will be projects, field trips, skits and other fun hands-on activities as well as home-use of this site. Please check this page for project and field trip information as they arise. Parents can follow along with us by going to the different options on the "11 History" tab. Please contact me with questions or concerns regarding assignments. My goals are to be proactive and facilitate learning. God Bless! Mrs. McCormick |
